開心到痺
I cannot find this term in any old chinese books.

心 is an important organ. it cannot be 開ed by anyone except surgeons otherwise it can be very very dangerous. I hope ah-lap take care and stay away from these surgeons. If it is a description of a vague concept it cannot be opened or closed as opened and closed mean different to different people.

痺 is a sensation. a conscious sensation interpreted by the brain usually via nervous tissue. commonly referring to surface of the skin and not the heart. The heart in trouble may evoke pain but not 痺

開心到痺 therefore is a very mistaken term.

any suggestions?

I almost believe that you are conducting a seminar on neuro stuff on Alap's World. Haven't you had enough at
work?! (laugh!)

There is little doubt that there is a lot of misleading stuff in our Cantonese culture. Worst of all, the evolution of
the 無哩頭文化 among Hongkies is getting out of control. Nnevertheless, the youngsters of this generation likes
it, so what can we say!

"開心到痺" obviously make people "骨都痺" and consequently we need an orthopaedic surgeon to fix it!
