粵曲之精粹,貴乎於追腔拍和,有別於流行歌曲。拍和者要緊隨唱者當時的情緒及行腔路數,弟今天心爽,取個高腔,今天聲線不大靈光,則取低腔,這全取决於歌者的取向。若硬將一般傳統梆黃加以譜子,則完全失卻了拍和的意義。 本人無意低眨一些初學者及一些音樂水凖較次的樂師,當然,有譜的曲本,對於上述兩者均較易掌握,但長遠來說,則會令兩者對於一些沒有譜子的曲本,在沒有倚凴的情況下,出現某程度上的困難。 唱粵曲以及拍和,均需經驗累積,始終都要多聽多唱,這是老生常談,但也是最實際不過的 ! |

阿立哥所言甚是, 由其是筆記末段的工尺/簡譜共用法, 也是我所用的. 學曲者無須肆意標榜自己精通工尺譜或簡譜, 各人隨心所好, 用自己喜歡或習慣用的, 根本這不是一個非黑即白的題目, 不過在此討論, 大家又可增加對工尺/簡譜利弊的認識, 是一種得著. |

This is the first time I joint your topic, happy Chinese New Year, sorry for I don't know Chinese typing, so I can only type with me very limited English, I totally agree with both of you Ah Lap and V. 剛剛看完your筆記, 又想大發謬論了. 一個有趣的現象: 我個人認為 初學唱者need簡譜, 因為音律節奏分明, 易於learn. 就如習書法一樣, 用九宮格 框住來寫, 一定容易掌握, 寫得不徧不倚的.
但粵曲是一個very very很有創意的曲種, 這正正是它比其他曲種 much much更為有魅力 可愛及可貴之處. 往往是彈奏者 追奏 唱者的腔, 故形成歌者有個人風格, 唱腔的設計也變化萬千, 創意無限! How true!!!!! 如果用細緻的音符和節拍框實, 那就會變成千人一腔了; 再也沒有創意 風格可言; 再沒有什麼女腔, 芳腔, 薛腔, 新馬腔, B腔.........C.D.E腔等 出現了. 這豈不扼殺了其某程度上的藝術價值嗎!Unfortunately by following these a b c d ...e .....腔 people stop improving, progressing and thus the present status in CHinese music, and other things as well. All you need is to learn only 10 popular classical songs and you become a virtuoso in urhu, pipa, guzheng etc. All you need is to sing one classical opera piece, you are the apple in people's eyes amongst opera buffs. 同樣...絃樂 擊樂者亦然; exactly
一個出色的樂者 也可在樂曲中 加插擊奏出 很多個人風格的花腔 使樂曲更加優美, 悅耳, 活脫, 動聽. 更能顯見其個人的身價及造詣.correct!!!..but the words 出色 means knowledge and learning.
when you listen to vcd, cd, dvd etc....behind these fantastic performances is a lot of knowledge, and a lot of natural gifts and talents. Not just a simple question of 123 or 工尺譜
所以 詳盡細緻的曲譜 can never become出色的歌者、樂者 的藩籠 笳鎖! But can be not that出色的歌者、樂者 的guiding angel. 反觀書法亦然, 所有出色的書法篇章, 都是在沒有框框的白紙上筆走龍蛇, 舞字躍墨的.But behind 龍蛇 is millions pages of 九宮格.
Conculsion: 粵曲之能夠引人入勝, 百聽不厭, 其中最大原因 應該是它擁有這個百變的特質了. 故此 工尺譜的存在價值與否, 相信是 值得我們好好去反思..和肯定! In other words if one is equiped with genuine knowledge of music 工尺譜的存在 is 否.

I am wondering how people learn and sing with only lyrics in the olden days. Some cannot even read!
You may choose what you like; what really matters is the singer himself but not the 工尺 or 簡譜.
